Morning Smoothie: I like to have a cruisy morning so that I can mentally and nutritionally get myself energised to start the day. So with that in mind, I usually make my morning smoothie at home. Currently my favourite fix is avocado, spinach, cinnamon, coconut milk and coconut water
Mid morning elixir from Orchard Street, Paddington: I love the elixir’s at Orchard Street. I find that they are generally good for energy and/ or the adrenal system, depending on which one you choose!
Tea: I love a good tea as they are not only rich which antioxidants and other health benefits, but they also provide a nice moment to just sit for a moment and just be.
However if you’re on the go but still want to reap the health benefits, I usually go for a natural powdered formula that is probiotic rich as it’s great for gut health and good digestion. It’s also perfect to add to your water bottle for an extra kick.
Bootsdarling: One of my favourite cafes at the moment is Bootsdarling on South Dowling Street. I’m obsessed with any of the specials- they are so good I barely even look at the menu anything, needless to say that they have kick-ass everything! And the guys are so lovely that being there is a joy!
Edamame: I love love love Edamame beans, needless to say that they are my go-to afternoon snack. I source mine from Thomas Dux, Five Ways
COME JOIN ME AT FLOW AFTER DARK!
The final FLOW AFTER DARK of 2016 is coming and we will be celebrating with a Halloween event to remember thanks to our partners Brita Active, Body Science TX100, Ministry of Sound and Lululemon.
This will be our biggest event yet with 1000 yogis descending upon the Horden Pavilion on October 27th for a pre- Halloween celebration.
Ministry of Sound will be collaborating with resident DJ James Mack and Aus #1 yoga instructor, Kate Kendall on the soundtrack, AVEDA will be setting up a yogi braid station, Brita Active will be hosting a special ‘trade your plastic bottle’ venture so you can trade in your plastic bottles for a Brita Active bottle at a nominal price. There will also be activations by Body Science Green Tea TX100, The Clean Treats Factory, Wild Kombucha, Alex and Ani, Forever Floating and more.
