Whether you are going away for work or maybe looking at a staycation (which are THE best fyi) hotels in Australia are really stepping it up in the health arena.
From easy city access, supporting local produce to healthy new menu’s, here are a few of my new favourites.
SYDNEY
Westin Hotels & Resorts has always had an air of luxury to them, I mean have you seen the stunning Sydney building which used to be the old post office? But, they’ve just stepped it up. Big time, and have just announced the gorgeous Rachael Finch as the brand’s Well-Being Brand Advocate.
“I am thrilled to join the distinguished panel of Westin Well-Being Brand Advocates for Asia Pacific; and look forward to sharing my passion for fitness and nutrition with Westin guests,” said Rachael Finch. “Wellness is far more than just looking good physically, it’s about feeling good. To achieve this, like Westin, I believe you have to make health and well-being an integral part of everyday life, even when you’re on the road.”
No offence to Rachel but it is the program that seriously shines.
Introduced back in March 2014, the Westin Well-Being Movement encompasses programs across Westin’s six pillars of well-being: Sleep Well, Eat Well, Move Well, Feel Well, Work Well and Play Well – to promote a comprehensive approach to healthy lifestyles. From the world-renowned Heavenly Bed and nourishing SuperFoodsRx dishes (including a healthy kids menu – BIG tick!), to the energizing WestinWORKOUT, RunWESTIN and Westin Gear Lending with New Balance. Let me break that down for you, it means you can BORROW NewBalance workout gear (right down to shoes and socks) so there are no excuses.
How perfect is that for when you can only take carry on but you want to go city exploring?!
MELBOURNE
Sometimes, you just need to be right in the hustle of a city to really be able to explore (aka shop), run through the near by parks and then relax in a spacious hotel room (or in this cased, serviced apartment) like the Adina.
First things first, this place is pet friend which I wish I knew before hand because my pup Frankie would have loved her self a lil holiday… it has free wi-fi (obs important), a full kitchen which is totally needed when travelling with a baby but also for those with special eating requirements. Just stock up on fresh produce and prepare simple meals whenever you need during your stay.
In room massage? You got it. Full gym and pool? Of course.
The staff here are also especially helpful and nothing is too much trouble. And don’t worry, you won’t miss out if you don’t go to Melbourne because the Adina Apartments is under the TFE Hotel banner (a leading hotel operator across Australia, NZ and Europe with strong Asian connections. Combining the strength of two international hospitality businesses, to operate 70 centrally located hotels across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. TFE Hotels’ brands include: Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Serviced Apartments, Rendezvous Hotels, Vibe Hotels, Travelodge Hotels and TFE Hotels Collection.)
