The weather is finally warming up and that can only mean one thing.

Panic.

Can you feel it? The sheer and godforsaken panic that’s spreading across the country at the thought of taking off the layers and revealing some form of swim-wear.

But don’t fear, a few key pieces are all you need to help fire up that motivation once more. Farewell Netflix binge body!

Read on below for my November faves:

It’s all about the bra: Champion’s Warrior Bra

The foundation for any good workout for us ladies is a dam good sports bra. Without adequate support or comfort you are already putting yourself behind. You know what Im talking about. Running, skipping, burpees – nightmare… and then there are the imitation sports bras which aren’t functional at all and just look pretty. That’s enough to turn a workout to walk to the couch… that’s why I’m totally digging Champion’s new Warrior Bra.

Champion, inventor of the original sports bra, introduces the new bra with sleek lightweight fabrics and advanced features designed to deliver ultra-comfort, us women can finally ban the bounce once and for all! And to my XS friends, not only do you still need support (prevention ladies, prevention) don’t think that you don’t need this either because you do!! The Warrior Bra uses C-Vapor Technology and special wicking fabric to draw sweat off the body (winning), plus it features a smooth chafe-free bottom band as well as perforations in the hot zones to enhance airflow for a cooler workout. The other feature that was surprisingly a standout is the adjustable gel straps which eliminate dig-in marks (you notice this once you wear a bra that does have this trust me!).

Style hasn’t been compromised in the design process, with the Warrior Bra available in three fashion-forward colour ways: Black Heather, Windchill Blue and Pinksicle. You know me, black all the way baby.

Repeat after me, the right bra IS essential and if you don’t get this right, there goes your workout!!! You can shop the range at Myer, sport stores and of course online.

Move that body

Boredom is the killer of any exercise routine. If you’ve been going to the same ol’ gym or doing the same workout for weeks (or gasp, years) it’s time to mix up it, and quickly! Class Pass gives you that ability with its monthly membership giving you access to hundreds of studios around our city. Boxing one day, Barre the next, maybe even a little dance, the options are endless! Check them out here.

Energy. Or should we say, Little Wildling Co organic herbal tea blend ‘I Work Out’.

Have it chilled as the base of your morning smoothie, have it in placeof that second coffee or for when your energy is dropping in the afternoon. Tasty, nurturing to those poor adrenals and a little bit of health in every sip. Check out the range here.

The right tights

And for me, that’s Nimble tights (these are my fave Amelia Onyx Black). Not only are they 100% Australian and designed, these light-weight compression fabric tights feature 4 way stretch and moisture wicking – fitting you like a second skin and keeps you cool and dry. I’m also a fan of the wide waistband to hold you in, the smooth chafe-free flat lock seams for ultimate comfort and the lengthening contrast panels and back yoke to flatter the hips, bum and thighs. Plus the pattern of course is rad.

Kicks.

I have a cupboard full of bright crazy sneakers but it’s the classic black Adidas Pure Boost X that gets the most wear.

Lightweight and sleek, these women’s running shoes are fuelled by boost energy. This low-profile runner blends an energy-returning boost midsole with a stretchweb outsole for a cushioned ride with terrific ground-feel. They feature a breathable mesh upper with a sock-like fit that offers all-around support. Like seriously, you feel like you are wearing a sock.

Ultralight Breathability top

Well first things first, I love the back of this Nike Women’s Training Tank. The open racerback design and breathable mesh back strap helps you cool and stay dry. Then the Dri-FIT Technology helps keep you dry and comfortable by wicking sweat away from your skin to the fabric’s surface, where it quickly evaporates. But did I mention it looks cool? I also have it in black. Just to, you know, cover bases.

And there we have it, the ultimate workout to get that booty out the door and sweat it out as summer is literally weeks away!!
